Please read before requesting a pickup.
1. Customer preparation
Customers are responsible for ensuring each package is properly packed, securely sealed, correctly addressed, and labeled for the selected carrier, with required postage and documents. Dropech does not guarantee carrier acceptance or delivery by a particular date.
2. Drop-off and proof
Where available, Dropech will provide a receipt, carrier acceptance scan, or other reasonable record of handoff. A photo of a package at a location, placement in a drop box, or shipping-label status may not prove formal carrier acceptance. Customers should retain their own tracking and shipping records.
3. After carrier acceptance or documented handoff
To the extent permitted by applicable law, once Dropech has documented that a package was handed over to the appropriate carrier or designated drop-off location, Dropech is not responsible for carrier delays, failure to scan or process the package, loss, damage, misrouting, or failure to deliver occurring afterward. Customers should contact the carrier and, where applicable, the seller or label provider about tracking inquiries or claims. This provision does not waive any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
4. Rejected or unaccepted packages
Carrier and drop-off locations may refuse packages because of labels, postage, packaging, size, contents, or service restrictions. Dropech does not guarantee acceptance. If a package is refused or cannot be deposited, the driver is not required to make a return trip to the original pickup address. Dropech may contact the customer to arrange an alternative. Any additional handling, storage, redelivery, or return service must be separately agreed upon and may involve an additional fee. While a package remains in Dropech's custody, Dropech will handle it with reasonable care and provide further instructions where practicable.
5. Package contents and value
Customers are responsible for package contents, declared value, packaging, shipping labels, and compliance with carrier rules and applicable law. Dropech does not provide shipping insurance unless explicitly agreed to in writing. Customers should consider purchasing appropriate carrier or third-party shipping insurance.
6. No guarantee of shipping outcome
Dropech provides a pickup and drop-off service, not a guarantee of shipment acceptance, transit time, or final delivery. Nothing in this policy excludes liability for Dropech's own negligence, intentional misconduct, or any other liability that applicable law does not allow a business to exclude or limit.
7. Questions and claims
Customers should contact Dropech promptly about a pickup or handoff issue and keep receipts, tracking numbers, photos, and related messages.
